How I Came To Play This Game
Windman Stage
A long time ago I bought the Megaman Anniversary Collection for the Gamecube which included the first eight Megaman games and two arcade games.
Story
The most talented robot designers from across the globe have come to the 1st Annual Robot Tournament sponsored by the billionaire Mr. X. Traveling from several countries, the designers have brought their finest cybernetic creations to do battle in a series of tests to see which robot can claim the title of "The Most Powerful Robot In The World."Nothing seems strange as the contest begins, but when the top eight robots enter the arena for the final event, the lights dim and the mysterious Mr. X appears...
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I wish to thank you all for coming to see the final event of my 1st Annual Robot Tournament. As you know, I have kept the final event of the tournament secret. This event will test the strength, skill and intelligence of each of these fine robots. In fact, it will also test the strength and skill of each one of you. That may seem strange, but I'm sure you will understand when I explain that the final test for these robots is to help me conquer the world! Please excuse me and my robots as we teleport out of here, but we have a lot of work to do. But don't worry, you'll see me again soon. Very soon!"

Review
I feel sorry for Megaman 6. It was the last of the Megaman games released on the original Nintendo, and it didn't get much notice when it was released because the Super Nintendo was already out. Megaman 6 is a good game, and a hard game. I would say it has to be in between Megaman 2 and Megaman 3 in difficulty. However, Megaman 6 plays better than Megaman 3 due to one simple factor, it has the Jet Adaptor. I find myself using the Jet Adaptor to fly over enemies all the time. It just gives you a sense of safeness when jumping over holes, because now you have a jet pack to back up your jumps. The Power Adaptor was pretty cool too, but what was gained in strength was lost in speed, which made it slower than Megaman's other forms. This was the first Megaman game to include thEnergy Balancer. The device would allow you to pick up weapons energy at anytime and the energy would automatically be put into a weapon that needed it. Before, you had to switch to the weapon you wanted to refuel, then pick up the item. Eddie makes a return for a third game, giving Megaman items in the middle of some stages. However, Eddie seemed to give more health packs rather than E-Tanks or Extra Lives. Beat was also available again and in order to use him, you would need to collect all four of the BEAT plates located in four of the stages. The plates would spell out the word BEAT. Once you collected them all, Beat would be available to use. How you found the letters was interesting. In the stages that you found them in, there were two boss doors. One would lead to an easy version of the boss, and you would be awarded the bosses weapon upon its defeat. The other door was usually only accessible if you had one of the Adaptors, and would lead to a harder version of the boss. Upon that boss' defeat, you would still get the boss weapon, but also a BEAT plate. This made the game a little more interesting and gave a reason to play through some of the stages a second time. Also what was cool, was that if you played through a stage with a BEAT plate a second time, it would change colors. That is weird. The game ended with another cool Wily Machine No.6 to beat as well as the third Wily Capsule. This game was very memorable and leaves you satisfied when you beat it.
Releases
Megaman 6 was first released for the NES in 1994. Then, in 1999, another remake was released in another compilation called Rockman Complete Works for the Playstation in Japan only. Another compilation, the Megaman Anniversery Collection, was released for the Gamecube and Playstation 2 in 2004, with an Xbox version released in 2005. It was released for Mobile Phones in 2007, and for 3DS Virtual Console in 2013.
My Rating
I give this game a 10/10. Like Megaman 3, this one was harder to beat than the other Megaman games. However, the addition of the Jet and Power forms, it was really fun to
